2 Month vs 1 Month Internship?
I'm deciding between two offers for remote work at non-profits this summer. One is a one-month internship (shorter because of COVID) and the other a 2-month internship. The work of the one-month program actually interests me more, but not by that much. The difference in payment is small enough that I'm not factoring that in.
Ultimately, I want to work in litigation and am going to be doing EIP. Is there any reason to not choose the shorter internship and enjoy a long vacation? I've looked at sample resumes and they often just say "Summer 20XX", so it shouldn't matter at EIP, I think?

Don't overthink this. Insofar as anyone cares in the first place they'll cut you some slack for the summer of 2020.
(That said, "Summer 2020" is not gonna totally camouflage this since a lot of job applications, and LinkedIn, ask for month/year start and end dates.)

Agreed, take the one that interests you more, regardless of length. If you're worried about resume coverage, find an RA or similar job to cover the gap.
If you can get better substantive experience at one, that might weigh for that opportunity, but barely so. Very rarely will you get substantive experience during a summer internship. What you want most is talking points and conversation starters about what you saw/did/experienced during your 1L summer.

i'd go for the 2 mos. i don't think you can get any interview fodder out of a 1 month internship, especially remote, especially when things are slow.

OK, thank you everyone! I decided not to be lazy and took the full internship.

I think that's the right choice, OP. It'll give you more to discuss during EIP and won't look weirdly short to anyone who checks out your LinkedIn page. Good luck this summer!
