I think I’m gonna go bald before I go grey.

At this point I'm thinking we'll go grey by the end of tomorrow.

I do and don't want to transition from waiting on grey to waiting on tracker updates on the 10 remaining schools this cycle.

The last few days before gray are always the worst. I was doing fine the past couple weeks.

I just wish the released them on the March 8th date. I'd make things easier.

Me too. It doesn't make sense to give a release date if you're almost always going to release them early. Just give us a firm date and stick with it.

Here’s to hoping that lsac tries again at what they tried and failed at in December.

Also by the way, at this point I don’t remember the feb lsat at all. Not one question, not if I thought it was easy or hard, not what experimental section I had. I honestly don’t even remember what city I took it in. I just need my score and I’ll be so done with feb lsat.

im going home to take a nap now. If I awake to chaos, so be it, but I sure as hell don't want to be awake for the impact.

I've also long wondered why they don't just pick a date and stick with it, and the best explanation I've come up with is that the group they see as their "real" customers—which are the law schools—benefit by getting scores as early as possible. So, LSAC uses the "official deadline" as a sort of drop dead date that they feel certain they can always make, but in almost every case they can beat that date, so they do so in order to help schools.

In my opinion, LSAC has for years been so law school-focused that they often didn't really consider how they treated the students taking their test (grey day is one example, how they treat accommodated test takers is another). The entrance of the GRE, which is a far student-friendlier test, will hopefully change that.

Either way, I'm sorry you guys are waiting still. I know it sucks.

Would interpret this as no Grey today.

I'm not mad at them for cutting it early due to the weather. As someone who's work DIDN'T give us a break during the hurricane seasons, I was grossly unprepared. I do like how they qualify the safety of their employees.

But can't they schedule the scores to go up automatically, without people in the office? Also, why not just say explicitly that the score release is delayed due to weather? It's all so frustrating.

They can.

But, if you were in their shoes, would you really want to tell someone that you were going to release the results of something earlier than the deadline but decided not to because of the weather? Better to just pretend it wasn't getting released today and have the tweet for explaining why phone calls aren't being answered during business hours.

They know takers are on Grey Watch. With everything I've been through across three test releases, including their flub in December with JK we meant we're releasing them tomorrow when we tweeted today, I would say this can be interpreted as we're closing down so that's why people aren't answering phones and there's a good chance scores won't be released today. There's a chance they could from automation, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I'm actually surprised the LSAC hadn't tried to make (more) money off score releases. For example, they could charge an extra $100 for a "priority" score release-either 24 hours before everyone else, or as part of the first grey batch. There's probably a fair number of people willing to pay for even an hour less of score anxiety.

I hate LSAC. Here's to hoping the GRE makes them improve the way they do things.

Seriously. They already gouge us enough with the $35 per application fee.

Despite all the confusion in that LSAC note over the 7th or 8th, LSAC just directly confirmed to me that it will be Wednesday the 7th (as in the current message on their site). So, they are saying it's Wednesday early evening for sure (which usually means about 4:30 PM Eastern).
