Does Major matter?

Post by Indecision » Wed Sep 30, 2020 10:49 pm

Hi there,

Obviously for those who have seen my other post know it’s been a decade since I’ve been in college, but I digress.

Does major matter? I was a history major in undergrad with a higher major gpa. Do lawschool a take that in consideration more or is it a pure numbers game?

I know someone who got into a decent law school with a art major. He had a 3.7 which is higher than my gpa however I studied history and sociology.

Thoughts??

Pure numbers game, was always my understanding? Which is unfortunate for some given the varying difficulties of different UG degree programs.

however suggests you mean to contrast one with the other, but that can't be right.

In your case, the answer is that major will not matter.
