For those who applied maybe in January and might not receive waitlists until late March/April, is taking the LSAT on April 25th acceptable? Is anyone planning to do this? I know the standard for doing this is to retake in June where you will already know where you’re waitlisted at, but in many cases waitlist decisions are made in May.
April works fine for the extremely narrow purpose of trying to get off of waitlists, but if you've made it to that point then you should be seriously contemplating re-applying next cycle, in which case the meaningful difference between April/June/whatever is whether you're prepared to do as well as possible.
