I'm currently UR2, as well!
Looking at past threads, it seems like early UR2's fared pretty well.

Is there any way to tell if you’re UR 1 or 2? I haven’t been paying attention but I am UR as of a couple days ago and I submitted at the end of September.

NY normally has quick turnaround times from complete ->UR1, so check the "you've gone complete" email that you received from them.
If it was sometime ago then you're probably UR2.

It was a couple weeks ago. Cool, thank you.

UR2. Submitted 10/13. Any chance we think NYU might start moving early like some other schools have been?

UR2 as well. They've released decisions as early as Nov in past cycles, so hopefully we'll see movement soon!

Anyone else still UR1 since September? Either that or I went UR2 so fast I didn't notice. :(

For NYU, people normally go UR1 the day (or the day after) they go complete. You'll probably have gotten a "complete" email, so you can check it that way!

I think people were getting UR2s for a few days around mid October

I didn't get a "complete" email, but my "under review" date is 4 days after submission of the app, so I'm pretty sure it's got to be UR1.

I'm still what I believe is UR1 from 9/17. Not really worried about it either, as I think people can get in either way and we don't really know a lot about what going UR2 (or not) means on an individual level :)

Still UR1 since Oct. 3rd with 3.9x and 173. Seeing all these UR2s makes me nervous there's something wrong with my app. I know it's still extremely early, but people w/ lower stats than me have had movement from Michigan and NYU. Very excited for them! Very nervous for me lmao

There's absolutely no reason to think something is wrong with you app. As I said above, people get in with and without having gone UR2 - we literally have no idea what it means on an individual basis. Also, you have plenty of time to go UR2. Honestly, I think the status checkers are a super odd practice - they provide no useful information that is not also emailed to the applicant, and just promote neurotic checking/wild guessing about what date changes or lack thereof mean.
