I'm guessing there will be free food, so since I'm already in Chicago I might as well

Hoping they offer a stipend because I'd be coming from NY - anyone know if they've offered one in the past or how much it was?

I saw on past threads that it was $250 if you're traveling more than 600 miles. Nothing on the admitted students site for this year yet.

They put up the Scholarship & Grant Supplemental App on the admitted students site. Not really sure what they're looking for with this first prompt about "assessing your position for merit aid" but I guess this is what I'll be doing this weekend.

I'm planning on writing about my work experience and skills I've gained through that. Basically what I can bring to the school beyond academics. I'd love to hear what other people are thinking as well.

don't be afraid to be pretty blunt about what you're writing. and def submit the 2nd round of scholly reconsideration too. They really just want to be sure you're putting the effort in so that you're actually interested in coming here.

Also, HMU with any questions - Current Student.

Finally accepted. I applied pretty late. Do you know if getting in past the "soft" financial aid deadline means there will be less scholarship/aid money left?

shouldnt be an issue. keep expressing interest, submitting the apps for cash, and following up. I got accepted in the exact same wave as you (almost to the day!)
