Just got the PILS e-mail! Yay!
Congrats! I wonder if they all go out at once or in waves. I was really hoping for an invite. Mind sharing your stats?
Also wondering about this!

It might go out in waves, but the deadline to return the app is next Friday so it seems kind of tight

I received an invite as well. GPA = median; LSAT above the 75th. I won't be applying, so hopefully they'll send out another round to y'all!

Thanks! Did you reach out to them at all about it in advance? And do you mind sharing when you were admitted?

I didn't reach out to them, but my current employment is at a public interest legal organization, and they mentioned that they were sending me the application because of my background. I was admitted during the last week of January.

Did you guys write a Why Georgetown? Debating if I should send one in, since I've been ghosted since 1/10
It wouldn't hurt to write one, especially if you are serious about possibly attending this particular school. Just make sure that you don't ruin it by scrapping up random statements of interest. Be honest and sincere.
Do you think this applies as well to people that have already interviewed? I had my alumni interview 2 weeks ago and completed my application to the Global Scholars program at the beggining of the month. I am really serious about going to Georgetown (love the city, it's one of my dream schools and a perfect choice for my future career goals).

I have been thinking about sending a Why Georgetown statement but I do not know if they might consider it unnecessary after interviewing (I drove two and a half hours and missed a day of work to go interview, so I would imagine that already tells them I am interested).
Try these two things: 1. call and ask the admissions office if they are receptive to LOCI.If they say that writing one is more positive than negative, go for it. 2. Try the admitted students website trick.

Just got dinged by Georgetown after being ED deferred in November.

I'm not even mad. Didn't feel like riding out the Waitlist and wasn't prepared to go to Georgetown at sticker anyway.

I might call then, thanks for the advice! I have been trying the admissions website trick every two hours for the last two weeks (I'm obsessed) but unfortunately for me, there is no luck. I'm keeping my faith just because I have not received a ding/waitlist e-mail yet.

Interviewed last Friday, informed delivery says I've got a letter in the mail coming from them!

EDIT: I'm on vacation so I can't get the mail till early next week, but IN VIA ACCEPTED STUDENTS WEBSITE, WOOHOO!

Anyone else in a similar situation to me? Been complete since early January, but have not heard a thing so far. No rejection, acceptance, wait list, or interview request. Total radio silence.

Anyone who was admitted after the "Feeler email" went out thinking about reaching out to Admissions about whether another wave of such emails is forthcoming.

So funny story - we're doing this long/involved project at work and I'm basically on call. I Just received a phone call with a number from the DC area and got really excited. Turns out my coworker lived in DC a few years back and still has a number from there, and when I realized it was him I basically said "fuck, it's just you". He was a bit taken aback, but I explained the situation to him and we had a good laugh. But really, GEORGETOWN PLZ CALL ME

Does anyone know how scholarships/loans would differ in the part-time program? I’m wondering if I will still be able to take out loans (if so, I assume less?) and how the scholarships awarded differ.

Is the yellow app open yet? Can't find it anywhere on the admitted students website.

Is anyone else not going to Admitted Student Days because Georgetown doesn't offer financial help?

It will too expensive for me to visit. :(

Loans you'll for sure be able to take out. Less, of course, b/c COA is less for part-time. Not sure about merit aid. I know other PT programs like GW and Maryland do offer merit aid for PT.

Somehow forgot to check the mailbox on Saturday, wandered down today, and saw a letter from Georgetown. I'm in after being priority held! Very nice note on the bottom from Dean Cornblatt as well :D
