The poll doesn't have a "I have to make an individual visit because I know my employer won't let me have either of the ASD's off" option.

I sent in 2 LOR’s (the max number) from former professors when I applied on end of December. Went complete early Jan and still haven’t heard anything. Since I applied, I got another LOR from an employer and it is a fantastic letter. Would there be any harm in submitting that third letter through email now?

Applied in December as well and not a peep. Splitter tho so like a lot of schools I'm assuming they're holding onto my app until they're done going through those with better numbers

I'm a splitter as well, so I guess that makes sense. Still sucks seeing some people hear back in 2 weeks

they've also waitlisted what looks like more people with their current median than accepted on LSN which seems very odd...what a strange cycle

This cycle in general blows. Kicking myself for not applying last year :|

SERIOUSLY. I "deferred" a year because I panicked before the December 2016 LSAT because I didn't think I was ready. I wasn't aware that a billion more people were going to be applying in the next cycle, or else I would've taken my chances. Even with a 169. I'm sweating it out because of a 3.49 GPA. Haven't heard from UCLA yet, despite going complete on 1/3. On r/lawschooladmissions a month ago, some people were reporting acceptances a few days after going complete the same day as I did. Shit sucks

UCLA randomly bumped me to $50/k a year which is very tempting but I wish they placed better in ny
FWIW, I've heard that a lot of that is self-selection. Congratulations!

I second this. I'm from LA and it's difficult to get around without a car.

Also from LA. It is tricky to get around without a car, though you don't strictly need one in the immediate vicinity of Westwood.

You don't need one for 1L if you live in Weyburn, but you'll probably want a car for 2L and 3L.

In general a car will make everything easier around here, but Weyburn (grad housing) has 3 grocery stores all within walking distance along with a Target.

I saw that some people have received $$$. Do you think the fact that I haven't heard is indicative at all of how much I'll get?

I doubt it, I'm assuming people that have heard back about scholarship stuff were admitted earlier in the cycle and had their paperwork in. I wouldn't sweat it until you have the actual numbers-- I'm waiting to hear back myself!

I was accepted on 9/18 but haven't heard anything, which I'm hoping isn't a bad sign... :?

They don’t start looking at applications until mid February so I don’t think it makes a difference that you were accepted so early (congrats btw!)
