Arizona State
Received scholarship info in acceptance packet, all by email (through PDFs). I'm also applying from overseas, so this could be a little different...

BU
Acceptance by phone (applicants based in US) followed by snail mail
Acceptance by email w/ a scanned copy of the official letter followed by international mail through FedEx (applicants based overseas)
Scholarship info one week later by email (applicants based overseas)... perhaps also US candidates
For Arizona State, I received my acceptance by phone call, with the scholarship information in the email the following day.

maybe add something about the ND status checker showing seat deposits when you're in and status goes to "Decision Made"?
I also got an email from ND saying I was admitted, within like 6 hours of saying “Decision Made”.

Sorry dear :( That sucks. I'm hoping you get other better news this week!

What were your stats/ dates if you don't mind sharing?

Thank you for the kind words, it was a real hail mary (I’m a New Yorker so I had to try so I wouldn’t wonder later) and I just wanted to let others know it seems that rejections come, at least non-waitlist rejections, by mail. -/- applied on 10/14 and heard back on 2/9.

Hey y'all! I analyzed some data on wait times based on LSAT/GPA for different schools! Check it out + feel free to let me know if you have questions about the analysis or recommendations for further analysis! www.tinyurl.com/lsnwaittime

Should probably update Columbia's interview request part: you'll get an interview if you're borderline or considered for a scholarship, but it's not necessary for admission.

Update for Michigan dings: The status says "We are unable to offer you a seat in our..." sort of message, and you get a letter by snail mail within 2 days with more text. Never got an email.

For UCLA, I didn't receive a call, only an email letting me know that I had been accepted (there's supposed to be a physical letter arriving, but I haven't received it yet).

Do late applications often take longer to review? My Fordham went complete in mid-March and has not had a single update since.

Generally yes, the later you apply the longer you may wait/the lower your chances go since the class is more likely to be full

Not sure if OP will update this, but UCLA does have a status checker.

This should probably just get a new thread with an OP who is still applying.

This is true, they do have a status checker.

However, just as a heads up, their status checker doesn't do anything (Georgetown and WUSTL are the same!). It doesn't give you updates of any kind and from what I remember, not everyone got a status checker last cycle which is really weird, only some did (myself included).

I know Georgetown just goes from received --> complete and that is it IIRC. WUSTL/UCLA's does nada

How peculiar! Sad for the poor sod(s) tasked with programming it in the first place.

I believe in the law of acceptance or the law of you get what you need.

I think youre right, David, the answer is often no, but thats the perfect answer.
