You need to retake if you want Yale. HS are possible, but Yale would be out.

No but decent shot at H. With a 3.5 I'd say you're a lock at H, so maybe 40-50% chance at H? Are you already in?

If you want Y, you'd likely need to retake and break a 170 given your GPA. And even then, it'd be an uphill battle.

thanks for the duplicate post heads up.
I’m not in anywhere yet. Applying this cycle.

i guess I’m a glutton for pain + the # difference isn’t much off bc my adjusted numbers are a splash better than title says.

i took the LSAT 3x. my average is a 169

168 170 169
my gpa right now is a 3.43 - LSAC 3.3 after this semester it’ll be a 3.43 LSAC.

I’m changing careers so I’m learning some new info. apparently I guess the #s that would get me a more accurate response are

170 LSAT
3.4 GPA

Does that change your Yale no?

learned that average doesn’t matter. highest does. Also Lsac GPA from this semester matters. So adjusted for all that my #s are

170
3.43

still a no?

It’s hard for any of us to know because Yale is a huge crapshoot. You’re probably better having a score within the LSAT interquartile range, but Yale can be picky.

I would lean in at H and honestly don't know for Y (i just don't really understand their admissions process; blackbox). In likely everywhere else w/ good money from really nice schools. But it seems you are set on Y.
