Can anyone discuss how easy or hard was it to transition to life from CA/West Coast? Weather, people, traditions, culture, etc.

What's your favorite Mexican restaurant in DC?
Mezcalero and Tacqueria Habanero, both on 14th street

bored rising 2L ~median if anybody has questions
What's the best way to get outlines from top students that got As on exams last year for 1L? I've tried asking the director of academic success/peer advisor and have been turned away.
I'd imagine it's too late for this advice for this semester, sorry I don't check this board very often.

I will say that my first semester, I was well below median (3.1), and I used other people's outlines. Second semester, I made all my own outlines, and was median (3.3). This was not a coincidence. Use the SBA outline bank, find something that matches your style, and use that as a baseline to make your own outline. This is significantly more time consuming but well worth it.

I've also used OutlineDepot.com. You can pay to get old outlines that students submit, there are previews so you can tell if it's a good one or not. If you submit your own outline and wait a few weeks, they'll give you a credit to download an outline for free. 1 outline submitted = 1 credit = 1 downloadable, password protected, uneditable PDF file. 2 credits will get you an editable Word doc.

Slight reverse to this, but DON'T just take seminars heedlessly. Talk to people who have taken those specific ones before, cause some professors get way too intense about them. That said, find some seminars lol.
