Past use of weed not disqualifying for the feds

Thought this was sort of interesting:

I doubt it's a major difference from previous policies, it's not exactly a ringing endorsement and apparently you still can't smoke while working for the feds, but it was sort of interesting (in a good way) to see it actually get written down.

a little surprising this had to get a memo. i had thought that only the fbi (and presumably fbi's malformed clones like ATF and DEA) had a zero historical use policy

I think DOD did. Anyway, like I said, I don’t think it’s actually very different from practice, but saying it out loud is different from individual agencies/evaluators exercising discretion.
