I like Service Roads. It's Texas Law students interviewing public interest attorneys. Some really interesting interviewees include: James King (former NFL prospect who was wrongfully incarcerated; went to law school after leaving prison and is now with PDS in DC), Thomas Harvey (founder of Arch City Defenders in St. Louis), Ann Baddour (who focuses on fair financial services and predatory payday lenders), and Janelle Orsi (who uses transactional law to help people establish co-ops and other non-traditional joint community-based ventures).

Excited Utterance from Professor Chang at Vandy. It's exploring scholarship regarding the rules of evidence and courtroom procedure. Always very well put together and interesting!

Thanks for the First Mondays recommendation. I've been listening regularly for the past month or so. Great podcast. I really do enjoy the hosts, but this week's ep was a bit awkward at the end with the main host's rather dumb meandering position on women in top legal roles. I have the feeling that the co-host was "sick" specifically so they could bring in this woman who was a really great addition imo. I also enjoyed when Nina Totenberg talked over the two hosts and would not let them interrupt her earlier in the month.

Generally, really fascinating, and reminds me that I'm in the right profession (generally anyway) when I can finish a long day and still listen to the podcast on my drive home.

Personally, I'm a big fan of "Short Circuit," which is put out by the Institute for Justice. It has a libertarian lean (as one might expect) but they usually cover 3-4 interesting cases from various circuits.
