A lot of people are in your situation yet they go through with it. You do you.

I mean I guess if you can't handle getting good grades AND doing extracurricular stuff on top of that, then you should just focus on getting the best grades you can get.

I also don't know what all those tryouts entail at every school, but at mine, negotiation, client counseling, and moot court all involved working with one other person. I sure hope yours was solo, because I wouldn't be selfish enough to fuck over someone else and waste the judges' time if I had no real interest in doing any of it and was just planning to do the minimum. I would've just not signed up at all.

try telling someone on the moot court board that tryouts are right before when an LRW paper is due and if they'd reconsider moving it.

but really prepping for a moot court tryout argument when you've already written the brief doesn't take a lot of prep. grades are grades are grades but you should be able to spare an hour before the competition and it having minimal effect on your LRW assignment.

It's a fair response though.

Yeah, calling someone out on not being a team player is fair game. Deal with it OP. It's possible you are not nice.

Fuck everyone—do what you want; law school is not a team sport except to the extent that misery loves company.

The moot court competition is clearly already finished and you provided zero value to the thread. Go ahead and push me on this.

What an uplifting sentiment.
