I'm pretty sure I saw a female roommate post on the FB page this morning? Maybe? GL!

Has anyone checked out housing in university city called the Left Bank? Or anything else in university city? I want to be as close as possible to school.

Some students live above White Dog Cafe right across Sansom from the Law School. That's probably as close as physically possible without living in a classroom.

Where’d everyone decide to live?

Plato - nah! You have tons of time. The early move and several other parameters specific to our situation were the only reasons we already sorted out the apt.

We're living in Rittenhouse area, again due only to more specific personal issues (mainly proximity to good preschools and then to a good public school--not so common in Philly--for kindergarten). One thing that might be interesting for people to know though is that there is an evening shuttle (5 pm to midnight I think) that goes from Penn campus to Rittenhouse area (20th and Locust I think?) in case anyone is thinking about Center City but wondering about getting home at night.

The Left Bank. Loved Rittenhouse but decided to opt for the shortest commute and best value apartment deal.

can you speak more to your decision? commute is pretty clear, but from what I saw Left Bank seemed to be a much higher price point than similar buildings. am I missing something/what went into your determination that it was the best value? (not asking to question your decision, just bc i am making a similar choice and wondering if i shouldn't have ruled it out!)

I went to look at apartments yesterday. Stuck to University City because I like a short commute. I saw Domus, Evo, Left Bank and 3601 Market. Can answer any questions about what I saw if anyone is interested.

I'll be living in 3601 Market. Super happy with my room and the apartment.

Prob going with 3601, but want to take a look at left bank as well. Are any of the places with shorter commute negotiable off of the listing price? Also, are people typically signing one year leases or opting in for the full three?

Anyone look at 3737 chestnut - korman?

I have an E1 on the 20th floor. One year lease, never know what's going to happen and you can keep your same apt all three years as long as you renew within proper time frame. I liked Left Bank but liked 3601 better. Also looked at Dormus and Evo.

Has anyone gotten an email about setting up their LawKey yet? The enrollment checklist said that info would be sent mid-June, so just want to make sure I'm not missing anything!

Nothing here on the lawkey either. My Pennkey email came a bit after a lot of people's though so I think when lawkey stuff does come it'll probably be in waves too.
