Spreadsheet of the updates so far This sheet only includes schools doing over 20% biglaw+FC placement in the five-year weighted average. For the three combined categories at the end (biglaw+FC, public service, and total clerkships), I have also included the standard deviations over the past six yea...

Guys can we close out the Vandy/UCLA/UT pissing contest? I think we're beating a dead horse.
Done-zo. Would help if some of these holdouts would post their damn numbers.
Yes. I want the Georgetown numbers and was trying to pass the time.

Re: Employment Statistics by School - C/O 2017 rolling out + C/O 2012-2016 data

Also note that vandy typically places 9-14% in fed clerkships. Even assuming they are only in the south (they are not) do these positions not get applications from uva Duke gtown local schools and yes even H, CCN on down. Relevance? The claim earlier was that Vandy's big law numbers can likely be e...

Chicago "Smokey Biglaw" what do you mean by that? Shorthand for the whole international multi-office cravath salary thing. You think the same insularity doesn't exist in the South, with preference for Vandy over (damn carpetbaggers!) Cornell? I'm from the South, and I'll bet it very much does. The ...

Re: Employment Statistics by School - C/O 2017 rolling out + C/O 2012-2016 data

It's really easy for a shotgun-spread school like Vandy, GULC, or Michigan to demonstrate that they *can* place reasonably well into a bunch of states. It's harder to suss that out for a more focused school like Cornell, Texas, or UCLA. How many folks go to Cornell *wanting* to work in Ohio? I've s...

Wow good job Vandy! Wonder how much of that is school specific improvement, and how much is due to a better overall legal hiring environment? Guess we'll find out when other T20/T14s release their info. Can't imagine most schools are going to be jumping 11% (and 20%+ over two years). Cornell stayed...
