Such BS that I applied and went complete well over 7 months ago and still do not have a decision.

Re: Help Me Decide (Penn/UVA/Michigan)

Thank you everyone for the great insight / perspectives. It's good to know that I'm not too off with my thought process. While it's very doubtful, I'll update if I hear anything back from S, C, or N to see if that changes the equation.

Help Me Decide (Penn/UVA/Michigan)

It definitely feels weird to be posting one of these, especially when I feel that I've been lurking these boards for quite a while now. With that, thank you everyone for the wisdom and guidance both shared on this board and pre-2018 when everyone was on TLS. This is less a "help me decide" and more ...

Re: Baguette Applies to Law School

Hey, Baguette! Throwing in my results for you as you weigh your options on whether to go forward or re-apply. We have nearly identical GPAs, but you have me beat by a few points on the LSAT (I’m lower 170s. 180? You rock!). And I blanketed the T14 + UCLA and ASU back in September. I do have quite a ...

Re: LSL Veterans Thread

I know some public schools have converted scholarships to living stipends for vets using their GI Bill, but has anyone done this with Minnesota specifically? While I haven’t seen anything about Minnesota specifically, in past threads public schools have been more than willing to play ball (Michigan...

Re: LSL Veterans Thread

While I feel like the only military person on this site applying this cycle, I’m still going to put this out there for anyone lurking in the shadows. I’ve created an admissions spreadsheet for vets / those currently serving. This way we can track and get some quantifiable data on how veterans perfor...

Re: LSL Veterans Thread

Now that all of my applications are out, here has been my success with getting fee waivers. Hopefully this helps anyone applying this cycle and any future cycles. I’ll also be sure to post as I get results backs. Schools that do not offer service-based: - Duke (they’re pretty good with merit based, ...

3.4/167 (When to Apply)

I finally was able to take the LSAT, and I scored a 167. While not my best, I’m grateful to have taken it as I’m in Baghdad and otherwise would not of had the opportunity. However, a 167 is my overall average from the last few months of study. Having a 3.4, I’m not necessarily where I want to be. I’...
