Re: Survey of YOUR Block-Billing/Bill-Itemizing Practices

Yeah insurance requires task/phase billing and more details (with lower rates and more cuts to bills 🙄). Private clients still don’t allow block billing but are less annoying about their bills. I generally have to itemize and can barely ever block bill. Both things in the OP are considered block bil...

Re: Labor & Employment

welcome beep! <3

Saul- like I said above, I do mainly employment and only deal with union issues if they come up in my employment cases. All I can say is labor is a very niche practice and I’m not sure I’d just jump into it without any experience.

They have petite sizes and I am very petite (4’11) but busty. I have both petite and reg dresses from them that I love.
My absolute favorite piece from them is their original jacket/sweater thing. Dresses up anything. Dammit, now I want to shop. lol.

Re: tetelestai — cravath to 190 and boneus

Will my L&E boutique move at all? Think Jackson Lewis, Ogletree, etc. In a non-major market, pay varies by market. We did not move at all with the 160 to 180 increase. Hoping to get a small bump with this move. Currently, in my market, starting salary is roughly 125 probs not but we can always hope!

Your firm (if it's large) will have unlimited access. But what you use will still be tracked and billed to the client. So you still should be mindful of your research costs. One way to save money is get a physical copy of a treatise from the firm library and use that as a starting point. That usual...
