Didn't we go through all of these things already in the prior thread?? Moving desks/floors, talking with HR, telework arrangement, etc.

Re: Does it always make sense to clerk?
Agree with the above. Do you know whether you'd have a job waiting for you when you got back? (Would you want to go back?) It might be nice to have a really easy job for a year, hopefully get a good mentor, and get a resume boost at the same time. That said, my gut reaction was that it seems like yo...

Re: Cooley Interview Questions
I don't have specific info on Cooley, but you should always be prepared for behavioral questions anyway. Tell me about a time when you worked with a team; made a mistake; took the initiative. Etc. Good list of Q's here: https://www.thebalancecareers.com/behav ... ns-2059620

Re: July 2018 D.C. Bar Exam
I heard that this year all 1800 people were in one massive room. Also, on day 1 AM, the clocks did not sync up so they called out the remaining time every 30 min. And that things were generally slow and not on time, but day 2 was better (like Hand said).

Re: Clarivate Analytics EndNote
I've never used it, but I can't see it being too terribly useful for law school. At a glance, the software seems more geared toward actual academics / science and the like. If there's some law-specific functionality, that'd be interesting to know. But I doubt that it's going to pump out Bluebook cit...

Re: Post-SA Offer negotiation
The only two things you mentioned that are probably "negotiable" are (1) start date and (2) working during the year. (1) I've only ever heard of someone moving their start date to be *earlier* than the planned start date for most first years (which, like Dog said, is planned around the big onboardin...

You can always do a COA clerkship later if, after the district clerkship and possibly some firm experience, you decide you want to pursue litigation.

Re: Quiver's Guide to (Federal) Clerkships
Would it be OK if I accepted a callback from a 2L SA but then asked the law firm to defer my offer one year in order for me to do a clerkship? Or should I, assuming that I get a clerkship, wait until I complete my clerkship before applying to a firm? Not sure why in a callback you would ask a firm ...

I didn't think that WSGR was different than any other lockstep firm. So yes, I presume that you gain a class year each year. Are you asking because in the match email (https://abovethelaw.com/2018/06/west-coast-represents-in-the-salary-wars/2/) there are 2 columns, class year and comp year? I haven'...
