I was even going to pick up a hat off of the table and everything. Wanted to do this for USC/UCLA... But let's just say I'll be using the Wooden Pyramid ...

Withdrew from Northwestern (Waitlist), Texas, WUSTL, Bama... Still need to withdraw from the others. I'm pretty sure I'm going to cry when I withdraw from my second choice.

Re: USC Gould C/O 2021

For those wondering what the Admit Tour Days are like I will share my experience from the March 2nd event. The day began with an optional law school tour followed by remarks from the Dean of the law school. This was followed by a classroom visit. My group visited a Torts class and we got to see som...

Re: UCLAyyyyyye - Class of 2021

They did the same thing last year. I got nothing initially but was able to negotiate it up to more in line with what I got from peer schools. Unless this cycle has changed their approach, they'll probably be willing to negotiate again this year. Do they tell you if you got nothing? Or did you just ...

Re: UCLAyyyyyye - Class of 2021

I saw that some people have received $$$. Do you think the fact that I haven't heard is indicative at all of how much I'll get? I doubt it, I'm assuming people that have heard back about scholarship stuff were admitted earlier in the cycle and had their paperwork in. I wouldn't sweat it until you h...

Do any of y'all know the difference between Law Day and Admit Tour Days? Trying to figure out which one I want to go to... My understanding is that the Admit Tour Days are smaller versions of the Law Day. So I believe at the Law Day there are larger discussion panels, more faculty in attendance, mo...

I can't help but think about the people who sat out this year only to be smacked by the insanity that is this cycle. Are you doing something that will GREATLY improve your chances? Like a new job that puts you in the Highly Unique category? You already have kickass stats and I remember being impress...

Re: UCLAyyyyyye - Class of 2021

When can we expect to hear back on aid? Merit or need-based? If you filled out that form that's due 2/15, it says we can expect to hear back early March. Merit along the same timeline? This is merit. I'm under the impression that if you *did* do the longer need-based form, they do that first. What ...
