Re: Ethics Violation or No?

Pretty much what everybody else said here. I think if you approach this with the idea that the law school should offer your wife job assistance then you will not look very well informed about how these things work and it would not be favorable for you. You will look naive or entitled. The only reaso...

Re: Should I even be counting myself as a URM?

Re: Should I even be counting myself as a URM?

Yes, you could count yourself as Hispanic. For example to qualify for the National Hispanic scholarship for college scholarships the ethnicity requirement is at least 1/4 Hispanic descent. Re: Splitter with decent softs 3.45/172

I would definitely apply broadly. Go ahead and apply to the top law schools but also consider some safety schools as well. Have you considered UT Austin? It’s a great law school plus it’s in the best city in Texas. I’m not sure about this but you might want to think about writing an addendum if you ...

Re: 151 LSAT, GPA 3.85.. where to?

Don’t let this fool get under your skin. This is exactly what they want to do. If you have a valid reason for accommodations then you should definitely try. Your chances increase substantially with a better LSAT score. But if you are ok with your options and understand the employability of the schoo...

Re: High Scorers - How Did you Prep?

Please keep these coming- very helpful. My first diagnostic was a 170 with no prep but I had taken a college Logic class in high school. It was the summer before I started college. It was also an old test and have since heard that those were easier which did seem to bear out because last summer I st...

Re: PRETTIEST LAW SCHOOL AND LAW LIBRARY T-14ish

Yeah, I live in Austin and definitely not UT Law School. It’s pretty ugly overall. The building that is. But the campus is very pretty. I haven’t visited any other law schools so don’t know which is the prettiest.
