Re: Best fed income tax supp?

Re: Callback reimbursement questions

Gotcha, thanks for the feedback. On a side note, should I email recruiters letting them know that my address changed since OCI? Or just give updated resume copies during CBs? I’m not sure how much snail mail correspondence firms would ever do but I’m guessing it’s best to update it anyway

Callback reimbursement questions

What’s the best way to “attach” receipts to NALP reimbursement forms? Just scan hard copies and email them as attachments? And if using uber/Lyft instead of cabs, what’s the best way to send those receipts? I know both apps allow you to view your receipts, but I’m not sure how to export them.

Re: Guide for Transferring to Another Law School

Would it be appropriate to email the schools I’m still pending at to inform them that a school I’ve been accepted to requires a deposit by the end of this week? I know that tuition deposits aren’t necessarily binding, but given the short timeline for OCI bidding etc I would not feel comfortable bac...

Re: T50 to UVA/Berkeley/Duke/Northwestern?

I've been accepted to one of these schools, and am weighing my options. I feel very lucky to have been accepted (I was only about top 17%). Currently at 30's ranked school receiving a modest scholarship, expecting to pay 40k/year total expenses for 2L and 3L. As of right now, I am able to pay tuiti...

Re: Guide for Transferring to Another Law School

I, like many people I'm assuming, sent a resume with my primary application that listed my first semester GPA only. Should I send an updated resume listing my new GPA and class rank even though these are included in my transcript and statement of class rank from my school? I'm a little concerned abo...

Nope, don’t misrepresent or conflict with how your school calculates class rank. If they list you as top third or whatever, just list it as that.
Gotcha, thanks for the input.

Re: Bail on Moot Court Competition ?

I mean I guess if you can't handle getting good grades AND doing extracurricular stuff on top of that, then you should just focus on getting the best grades you can get. I also don't know what all those tryouts entail at every school, but at mine, negotiation, client counseling, and moot court all ...

Re: Advice for Transferring to the Top 14 [update under construction]

How advantageous is it to apply right when the application opens v. waiting until finals are done? Any ideas? I know decisions are rolling, but if everyone’s grades don’t come out until the end of May, do they give preference to those who got their incomplete applications in first? Also, is there a ...
