I have an LSAT well over 10 points higher and I didn't get any more money from UW. Not sure a retake is going to matter that much in that respect.

Can't believe it was just over a year ago that I decided to sit out a year and retake. Best decision Ive ever made! Sing it from the hilltops. The people need to hear this. Also you could, idk, ED to NU with those stats, or apply broadly and probably save enough money to buy a house

My spouse got an interview with her dream job in the city where I'm deposited, so I'm giving up on waitlists - not that I had much of a chance anyway

I will also throw my laptop suggestion out there, because i love it to death: ThinkPad T470 w/ a solid state drive and a beefed up 6 cell Li-Ion (72Wh) Cylindrical battery, so it has like 17 hours of charge, if I'm watching netflix 24/7. Which I usually am. I assume it's also spillproof, dropproof,...

Re: Class of 2021: It's so c0Ld in the D.

How bad is it if I use my almost-a-decade-old windows laptop for law school exams? It is pretty slow. I have a chromebook for doing outlines or whatever. Personally I'd want to go into the exam being 100% certain that my laptop will pull through for me - that's one layer of stress I don't want lol....

To those who are going to ride out some waitlists but deposited somewhere they have to move to.. When do you plan on signing a lease and calling it quits for the waitlists? Re: Rowdy's Guide to the LSAT

Did anyone else try to use distracting and stressful environments to mimic test day nerves? I figured that I would never get the same experience alone in a quiet room as an actual test day, so I did about half of my PTs in public places. My favorite jam was a McDonald's full of screaming children, ...

We are listing our house this week (yessssss) so I had to throw everything out in the Great Purge. My mum did ask for my LSAT prep books because she likes logic games. Mind like a steel trap, mum! Get it! Welcome to my current stress cycle! Our first offer fell through and we had to relist. Stop gi...

Wow that is a REALLY short list. Presumably that's almost 1:1 with new hires the following year?
No idea. But if I were gunning for firm work in PDX I'd have a back-up plan.
