I changed to UR2 but I haven't had a interview request. Is this a bad sign?
Not at all; it might be UR 1.5. I went UR2 with no interview request, then got one later, and eventually got in in the February wave. Don't lose hope!

Should we be concerned if we didn't get the first interview wave? I went UR1 around 10/9~10/14.
Last cycle I'm pretty sure I was UR1 around then, got an interview sometime in January and got my acceptance in February. Don't sweat not being in the first round!

Are Rubies granted with acceptance or do they come later? Do they have their own interview process?
They come later! People were reporting Rubies in March last year; came as a phone call and there isn't another interview process.

How recently did they get in?
I think maybe Friday? They posted an update over the weekend, but I’m not sure if they got the call over the weekend/if SLS does Saturday or Sunday calls like Yale, so I’m assuming they found out on Friday.

Re: Stanford C/O 2021 Applicants

If we want to decline our SLS offer, do we have to mail them a physical copy of the "Statement of Intent to Register"? It just seems like a bit of a hassle to download the form, print it, sign, and mail via snail mail. Is there no online option? Or can I just not do anything and they'll assume I've...

Re: Stanford C/O 2021 Applicants

Does anyone know how active Stanford is in pulling people off the waitlist? DLS (waitlist) today, so also wondering There was a post on the Other Website where someone took a bunch of cycle data and did mathy stuff with it. The takeaway was that, according to LSN, Stanford accepted~10% of those who...

is it possible to get off the WL without writing a LOCI?
In theory yes, but I'd imagine it's *way* easier to get in if you continue to demonstrate interest!

Just curious if Chicago tends to give any $$$ to people who come off the WL? I know it's possible, but is it likely? If I stay on, should I be assuming sticker? Also, is there a fb page?
I can't find anything on the ASW-does the deposit require that you withdraw from other schools right now, or only before the May 1st deadline?
