Re: NYU Students/Grads Taking Questions

Any insights on Nueborne or Gillette? Also is it a decent strategy to prioritize black letter law classes over P/F lawyering? Have heard generically good things about both, particularly Gillette. And yes, Lawyering will take tons of your time regardless but you shouldn't make it a priority at all. ...

If you can afford to wait, polish your app, and reapply early, there's not much downside to it. You definitely underperformed and with a good, early app you'll likely do much better.

Re: Logical Reasoning Tips?

When you review the sections after taking them, take note of the question types that you're missing. If you're missing a particular type of question more often, focus your efforts on attacking that type of question (you can do this with free tools online, like 7sage, but Fox's Logical Reasoning Ency...

Did the feeler email people get any confirmation of receipt from NYU after replying to the email? The deadline has passed so I’m just a little bit worried if they have received my response. Thanks!!
I did not receive confirmation, but replied shortly after.

Drill drill drill. LG is extremely learnable, but you have to get the reps. I started off where you did with LG, did every LG section that's been published, and ended up with a -1 due to a bubbling error on my retake. You can do it!

Re: Harvard Law Waitlist c/o 2021

Folks seem pretty sure this is it for waves, huh? No, we’re not sure. There was at least one small wave in June last year, and the VAST majority of acceptances today went to post-WL JS1s, and not pre-WL JS1s. The fact that at least one member of the latter group already received a JS1b, but not a J...

Re: Harvard Law Waitlist c/o 2021

So... I guess we pre-WL JS1ers just missed a round? Last year there was a relatively large wave of JS1bs spanning May 23rd/22nd, followed by JS2s on the 24th (to both JS1bers and some post-WL JS1ers). Then it looks like there was a mini-JS1b wave on June 9th, as well as some scattered JS1s, and not...

Re: NYU Waitlist c/o 2021

Feel like it's really hard for a school as big as NYU to have no movement, especially after someone pointed out that the number of admits on LSN is roughly consistent with other years (where they've used the waitlist a lot). Seems like they're just going slow, same as they have all cycle. I hope th...

Shoot, I was UR2 on 2/5 and got the hold tight email in March. I was really hoping I’d be done with this all by this week. Idk why they don’t just tell us all at once
